Dinner with the City of London Police Commissioner
The Commissioner of the City of London Police, was represented by Paul Betts, Assistant Commissioner Operations and Security.
We were honoured to have Paul Betts, Assistant Commissioner, City of London Police, as our principal guest at The Law Society, Chancery Lane, London.
We were privileged to be treated to the fabulous surroundings of the Common Room of the Grade II* listed building of the home of The Law Society where we enjoyed an excellent repast with fine wines and good company.
We are most grateful to Axis Communications and Selecta DNA for their generous sponsorship, enabling a donation to be made to our Charitable Trust.
Assistant Commissioner Betts gave an insightful presentation under the Chatham House rule on the role of the City of London Police both in policing the ‘square mile’ and its national remit in combatting Economic and Cyber Crime. Prevention being the most critical aspect with victims being at the heart of all that they do.
