Annual Commissioner’s Dinner celebrates links with City of London Police
The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals welcomed Pete O’Doherty, Commissioner of the City of London Police, as guest of honour at its annual Commissioner’s Dinner at Barber-Surgeons’ Hall in September.
Hosted by the Master, Wesley Harper, the evening brought together Company members, colleagues from across the security profession and representatives of the City of London Police.
The Commissioner spoke about the role of collaboration between policing and the private security sector. His remarks were followed by a lively question-and-answer session, with discussion focusing on work to support the City and those who live and work within it.

The dinner provided an opportunity to recognise the close relationship between the Company and the City of London Police. As the Security Professionals’ Livery Company, the WCoSP values these links and is proud to work with the force on a number of initiatives and areas of shared interest.
The Company extends its sincere thanks to Russel Kerr and SecuriGroup for their generous sponsorship and support, and to all members and guests who contributed to a memorable evening.
