On Monday 22 September I had the honour of being invited to the presentation of the Shrieval Chain and Badge of Office to Sheriff-Elect Deputy Keith Bottomley at Fishmongers’ Hall.  Keith, and his fellow Sheriff-Elect Robert Hughes-Penney, will take Office on Friday 26 September.  A reception was held during which Victoria Russell (Keith’s Campaign Chair) made a very welcoming speech and Keith was presented with his Shrieval Chain and Badge of Office.  His husband, Kevin, was also presented with his Badge.  The Worshipful Company looks forward to working with both Keith and Robert during their special year.
