Celebrating International Women’s Day at Guildhall – Thursday 12 March

I was invited to this event at Guildhall to celebrate International Women’s Day. After a buffet breakfast we gathered in The Old Library for the Opening Remarks  by The Lady Mayor, Dame Susan Langley DBE.  

The Panel consisted of Afua Kyei, Chief Financial Officer at the Bank of England, Nadia Minors, Vice President of Compliance at Vocalink and Non-Executive Director of Progress Together and Dr Vanessa Vallely OBE, CEO and Founder of

WeAreTheCity. 
It was a fascinating hour which inspired a number of excellent questions from the assembled guests.  Closing remarks were made by Deputy Caroline Haines CC.
