Over 30 members and guests attended a really interesting and fun Wine Tasting at Bow Wine Vaults on Tuesday 10 February, organised by Tim Molden.  Alistair Davey, General Manager, led us on a fascinating journey through 6 very different wines – 2 from Balfour Winery in Kent (sparkling rosé and a white still), a white from Lebanon, a Primitivo from Italy, a Cabernet Sauvignon from California and to finish a French Sauternes.  

Each wine was accompanied by a delicious canapé and Alistair provided a helpful and interesting background to each wine – describing the grape, vineyard, climate and wine production.  Clearly everyone enjoyed themselves as the noise level rose as the evening progressed!  CDVI kindly sponsored the event – so huge thanks to them, Alistair, Bow Wine Vaults and to Tim for organising yet another extremely successful informal gathering.
