Annual Dinner – Wednesday 15 October
Every October the Company holds its Annual Dinner. This year we chose Carpenters Hall for our venue. Our Principal Guest Speaker was Lord Mark Sedwill, former Cabinet Secretary and National Security Adviser, who made an excellent speech. Sheriffs Robert Hughes-Penney and Keith Bottomley also attended, as did the Provost Marshal (Army) Brigadier Sarah Pringle-Smith and Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, Matt Jukes.
The Provost Marshal (Army) Sword was presented to the 2025 winner and the Sheriffs presented the Sheriffs’ Award for Bravery to this year’s joint recipients – and launched the 2026 Award. Our congratulations to all recipients.
The excellent RAF Salon Orchestra provided music throughout, with a spectacular Post Horn Gallop (aided by a drop of Port!). A wonderful evening and one which had some very special and poignant moments.
