David Ward MBE CSyP FSyI is a Chartered Security Professional with nearly 30 years’ experience spanning frontline operations, risk management, and strategic leadership. He is the CEO of MS Webb, a UK security and enforcement company, where he focuses on service quality, compliance, and building long-term client partnerships.
David founded and chairs the City Security Council, a national partnership of leading security companies working with police and city authorities to improve preparedness and public safety. The Council was established in 2017 following the Westminster Bridge attack. He is also the founder of Abigail’s Footsteps, a charity established 16 years ago in memory of his daughter Abigail, who was stillborn, supporting bereaved families and improving standards of care following baby loss. In recognition of his charitable work, David was awarded an MBE in 2025 for services to charity.
He is a Fellow of the Security Institute and a member of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals.
