Dolly Carter is a senior journalist for the BBC World Service, working on the impact team for BBC Eye Investigations. Prior to this, she was part of the BBC’s regional investigations unit and worked as a court and crime correspondent for local papers.
Dolly was an apprentice to the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals from 2020 to 2024. Her apprenticeship afforded her the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting events, gain experience by managing the Company newsroom and she also received two personal invitations for luncheon with the Lord Mayor of the City of London and the Judges at the Old Bailey. Dolly received Freedom of the Company and Freedom of the City of London upon completion of her apprenticeship in 2024.
