Claire joined the Company in 2015, and became a Liveryman in June 2019. She is a self-employed barrister practising from 5 Essex Court based in the Temple (just inside the City of London). She regularly represents Police forces and Government clients in a variety of public law (including inquests and inquiries), civil claims and employment as well as acting for individuals and businesses. She was appointed to the Attorney General’s A Panel of Counsel in March 2019. She is currently acting for over 100 ex undercover officers, cover officers, back office staff and managers in the Undercover Policing Inquiry.
Claire played rugby at university, although now sticks to watching England. She tries to keep fit by running and completed her first (and maybe last) half marathon in 2019. She loves gin and is particularly partial to small batch gin.
