After a career in the Metropolitan Police specialising in international and organised crime, Michael spent the best part of two years as an international police adviser training the Iraqi Police Service. Upon his return to the UK in 2007, Michael was the security manager for Bank Machine, an ATM provider and Green Team Services, their in-house cash in transit company.
In September 2011, Michael was appointed a member of the Estee Lauder Companies Inc. Global Security and Trademark Protection Team, heading up the UK and Ireland region. His responsibilities including protecting the intellectual rights of thirty plus brands; retail and supply chain security; crisis management and business continuity training; employee travel advice; and personal security of VIP visitors to ELC premises and brands.
