
Bill is the Hall and Facilities Manager to a City of London Livery Company, as well as the Lead trainer for Clear Choice Training and is one of the National Mental Health First Aid delivery officers for St John Ambulance. He became a member of WCOSP in 2021 and became a Trustee in June 2022.
Bill previously worked in the Prison Service, becoming a suicide and self harm prevention lead trainer for the Kent cluster of establishments and became an ACCT assessor trainer and manager, training Prison Officers and staff in the processes to risk assess those in need or crisis within the prison population.
Bill joined the Special Constabulary in 2008 and has had a varied voluntary policing career including deploying as part of a specialist Marine policing team during the 2012 Olympics and being Awarded an Outstanding Bravery Award in 2017. Moving to the City in 2024 he is now actively involved around the City in the evenings and at key City events.
Bill holds qualifications in education, Counselling, and behaviour therapy as well as a range of outdoor and adventure qualifications meaning he was able to support young people both inside and outside of the classroom environment. Bill is currently also a Liveryman of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners.
