Alderman & Sheriff Gregory Jones KC and Sheriff David Chalk will be hosting the 2025 Sheriffs’ Award for Bravery Launch Reception at the Old Bailey on Friday 21st February 2025. They would like to remind you that nominations for the 2025 Sheriffs’ Award for Bravery are open Sheriffs’ Award for Bravery – WCoSP.

The City of London Sheriffs’ Award for Bravery is an annual award to individuals who, without thought for their own safety, have acted to confront immediate danger in order to protect another from serious harm or prevent serious damage to property. The Award celebrates heroism and selflessness as an inspiration to others.

The 2025 Award will be the twentieth since the Award was conceived to recognise spontaneous and heroic acts by members of the public following the London bombings of 7 July 2005.
