Following the recent Government announcement regarding new COVID-19 restrictions, the Christmas Luncheon will still take place as planned. The re-introduction of wearing face masks at indoor venues does not apply where it is impractical to do so, such as when eating and drinking. Therefore, it is not a requirement to wear a face mask whilst at the reception or lunch, however this is a matter of personal choice and those guests who wish to wear a mask should continue to do so. The catering staff will continue to wear face masks and/or visors.

As COVID-19 remains a serious consideration, we are requesting that all attendees perform a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) before travelling to Apothecaries’ Hall. Information on rapid lateral flow tests and where to obtain them for free can be found on the UK Government information website. If you are feeling unwell or displaying any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend this event. Please can you ensure that any guests you have invited are made aware of these requirements.
