We are pleased to announce details of this year’s Annual Dinner, supported by Mitie, which is to be held in the magnificent surroundings of Merchant Taylors’ Hall, a Grade I listed building built in the 14th century. The Great Hall, with its three metre high stained glass windows, pre-dates the Great Fire of London and has been used for over 700 years.
The only remaining working organ within a Livery Hall is housed on the gallery and we are very pleased to announce that organist, Jason Edge will be playing Vidor’s Toccata during the evening. Guests will be further entertained throughout dinner by the London Banqueting Ensemble.
The 2023 Sheriffs’ Award for Bravery will also be presented at the dinner by the Sheriffs of the City of London. The Sheriffs’ Award recognises and honours a person, or persons, who have shown courage and initiative in protecting people, property or liberty.
