Tom is based in Reading, UK and has 30 years of experience working in the Security, Risk & Resilience industry with a particular expertise in International Security programs, Crisis Management, geopolitical analysis and reporting and BCM. He has held management roles in The Bank of England, Standard and Poor, Google and ITV. In addition, he had the responsibility for an interesting role leading the design and implementation of security measures for the London 2012 Olympics along with Operational tours whilst serving in the Royal Navy Including Afghanistan.
Tom qualified in Estate Management before a career in the Navy specialising in Security and Intelligence, and has gained Chartered Security Professional status along with Certified Protection Professional. He holds a number of external professional positions including Liveryman and Court Assistant of The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals and membership of the International Security Management Association.
Tom currently leads the specialist Risks & Resilience Central Team at Nokia that will be responsible for Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Travel Management, GSOC operations and geopolitical analysis and its integration with the wider Nokia Enterprise Risk Program.
Tom has travelled to more than 49 countries in his professional and personal life. He also enjoys sports including Rugby, and keeps his creative side in check with culinary and baking creations.
