DESCRIPTION:This event is open to all members of the Company and their guests. Tickets are priced at £20 per person and include a cocktail\, beer\, or glass of wine upon arrival and a selection of canapés: guacamole totopos\, tuna tartare\, sea bream ceviche\, tofu yakitori (VG)\, beef yakitori\, mushroom yakitori (VG)\, turkey flautas\, and sweet potato flautas (VG). DESCRIPTION:Following the recent Government announcement regarding new COVID-19 restrictions\, the Christmas Luncheon will still take place as planned. The re-introduction of wearing face masks at indoor venues does not apply where it is impractical to do so\, such as when eating and drinking. Therefore\, it is not a requirement to wear a face mask whilst at the reception or lunch\, however this is a matter of personal choice and those guests who wish to wear a mask should continue to do so. The catering staff will continue to wear face masks and/or visors. \nAs COVID-19 remains a serious consideration\, we are requesting that all attendees perform a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) before travelling to Apothecaries’ Hall. DESCRIPTION:We are very privileged that by the kind permission of the Constable of the Tower\, General The Lord Houghton and the Governor\, Brigadier Andrew Jackson\, and through the good offices of our Honorary Chaplain\, the Revd Canon Roger Hall\, our Carol Service will again be held this year in the atmospheric Chapel Royal of St Peter ad Vincula\, within the walls of HM Tower of London.\n\n\n\nThe Master\, Wardens and Court of Assistants invite you\, your families and guests to join them at the service\, which will be a family event with readings from members of the Company and Carols led by the Chapel Choir under the leadership of the Master of Music\, Colm Carey. \nAll attendees at the Carol Service will be required to wear face coverings whilst in the Chapel; the Choir will also wear them when not singing. Please ensure any guests you have are made aware of this requirement. Those of you who have been asked to read a lesson at the service will have already received instructions for your arrival at the Tower. SUMMARY:CSyP 10th Anniversary Conference & Dinner
DESCRIPTION:Baroness Henig CBE DL\, Chair of the Chartered Security Professionals’ Registration Authority invites you to join her for this annual celebration of the Register of Chartered Security Professionals. \nPlease click here to secure your tickets. \nCome and join us as we visit St. Ermin’s Hotel\, the luxury hotel where\, in 1940\, Winston Churchill held a historic meeting asking people to join him in ‘Setting Europe Ablaze’ – this elite set\, were to become the founding members of the SOE (Special Operations Executive). The unit carried out covert operations during WW2\, from their headquarters – an entire floor of St. Ermin’s Hotel\, whilst MI6 were stationed two floors above. SOE agents’ printed secret coded messages on pieces of silk\, an original sample hangs in the Lobby\, hunt it down and try to crack the code.  In the 1950’s the spy Guy Burgess (part of the infamous Cambridge five) handed over secret papers to his Russian counterpart in the Caxton Bar. \nThe venue will be host to our new Conference in the afternoon\, ahead of the formal 10th Anniversary champagne reception and celebration dinner in the evening. Overnight bed and breakfast accommodation is available at the hotel\, with a specially negotiated rate bookable directly with the hotel. \n  \nAbout the Afternoon \nThe programme for the afternoon will include speakers and discussion groups focussing on future development of security and the Register.
