The site of the present hall was formerly the site of Abergavenny House\, which was purchased by the Stationers in 1606 for £3\,500\, but destroyed in the Great Fire of London\, 1666. The current building and hall date from circa 1670. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Curry Networking evening on Thursday 29th September in the Mess and Bar at 3MI’s London HQ in Worship Street. \nCurry\, beer or wine\, and great company! This is a relatively informal event that is intended to create an opportunity for Apprentices\, Apprentice Masters and Members to meet and network while learning something about the history and development of the Company. \nOur special guest will be First Lady of the Company Past Master Una Riley who will talk about her work with the Windsor Herald of Arms William George Hunt\, Esquire\, T.D.\, for the development of the Company Crest from the shield for the Livery\, all the way through to the full Crest of the Worshipful Company. DESCRIPTION:Following the recent Government announcement regarding new COVID-19 restrictions\, the Christmas Luncheon will still take place as planned. The re-introduction of wearing face masks at indoor venues does not apply where it is impractical to do so\, such as when eating and drinking. Therefore\, it is not a requirement to wear a face mask whilst at the reception or lunch\, however this is a matter of personal choice and those guests who wish to wear a mask should continue to do so.
