SUMMARY:The Ceremony of the Keys
DESCRIPTION:The Ceremony of the Keys is the traditional locking up of the Tower of London and has taken place on each and every night\, without fail\, for at least 700 years. \nAttendees will be given a guided tour of the Tower\, followed by drinks (pay bar) at the Yeoman Warders Club\, also known as The Keys. Visitors will be admitted to the Tower under escort at 7.20pm. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Shortly before 10pm\, attendees will be ushered outside for a briefing\, before watching the Ceremony of the Keys. After the ceremony\, attendees have the option to leave the tower\, or return to The Keys until close at 11pm. \nThe dress code for this visit is Business Dress\, strictly no jeans or trainers. Anyone arriving at the Tower incorrectly dressed will be denied entry. Any individuals who wish to wear any form of uniform\, must obtain permission from the Chief Yeoman Warder. No visitor under the age of 18 is permitted access to the Yeoman Warders Club. Those aged between 18 to 25 years must bring proof of age. The Club operates a ‘cash only’ bar and there are no cashpoint machines inside the walls of the Tower. There is a ‘no movement’ policy in the Tower between 9.30pm and 10.05pm. If any attendee needs to leave early\, then they must be clear of the grounds by no later than 9.20pm. \nPlease note that tickets are limited to 2 tickets per member. \nAccessibility – some visitors may require additional access arrangements as the historic building features difficult stairs\, a number of low doorways\, and passageways where wheelchair access is restricted. This will be held at Google’s offices in Kings Cross from 14:00 – 17:00\, followed by a network reception until 19:00hrs. \nThe workshop will center around crisis management exercises with Carl Goodworth\, Deputy CSO at SP Global facilitating the session and OSAC experienced professionals supporting round table discussions. \nOSAC would like to extend an invitation to WCOSP Apprentices and Young Members\, (U31)\, who may be early in their career and are looking for a training exercise to widen their knowledge and unlock their leadership and decision-making skills. \nAs places to the event are limited please only apply to attend if you are sure that you will be available on the 29th March to attend the full session. \nApprentices can claim Travel expenses on the Apprentice Travel Bursary Scheme. \nDress code is Smart. DESCRIPTION:The United Guilds Service and lunch will be held on Friday\, 24 March 2023 at St Paul’s Cathedral and Stationers’ Hall. \nThe Service is one of the few occasions in the Livery calendar at which all the Livery Companies and Guilds of the City can gather together as a whole – it is always a spectacular occasion\, and one not to be missed if you haven’t attended before. \nWe have a small number of seats available for the service\, and for lunch at Stationers’ Hall after the service (you may attend the service without attending the lunch). Tickets are strictly available on a first-come-first-served basis for both the service and lunch\, so early booking is essential.  To reserve your place please email the Clerk at cl***@***sp.org . \nThe service commences at 11.15am\, to be seated by 10.45am. \nFor the lunch at Stationers’ Hall\, drinks will be served from 12.30 pm in the Court Room\, followed by lunch in the Hall and Stock Room at 1.00 pm. SUMMARY:The Ceremony of the Keys
DESCRIPTION:The Ceremony of the Keys is the traditional locking up of the Tower of London and has taken place on each and every night\, without fail\, for at least 700 years. \nVisitors will be admitted to the Tower under escort at 7.20pm. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Attendees will be given a guided tour of the Tower\, followed by drinks (pay bar) at the Yeoman Warders Club\, also known as The Keys. Shortly before 10pm\, attendees will be ushered outside for a briefing\, before watching the Ceremony of the Keys. After the ceremony\, attendees have the option to leave the tower\, or return to The Keys until close at 11pm. \nThe dress code for this visit is Business Dress\, strictly no jeans or trainers. Anyone arriving at the Tower incorrectly dressed will be denied entry. Any individuals who wish to wear any form of uniform\, must obtain permission from the Chief Yeoman Warder. No visitor under the age of 18 is permitted access to the Yeoman Warders Club. Those aged between 18 to 25 years must bring proof of age. The Club operates a ‘cash only’ bar and there are no cashpoint machines inside the walls of the Tower. There is a ‘no movement’ policy in the Tower between 9.30pm and 10.05pm. If any attendee needs to leave early\, then they must be clear of the grounds by no later than 9.20pm.

This is a relatively informal event that is intended to create an opportunity for Apprentices\, Apprentice Masters and Members to meet and network while learning something about the history and development of the Company. \nOur special guest will be First Lady of the Company Past Master Una Riley who will talk about her work with the Windsor Herald of Arms William George Hunt\, Esquire\, T.D.\, for the development of the Company Crest from the shield for the Livery\, all the way through to the full Crest of the Worshipful Company.
